Lines accumulate by rule and drift by hand, and the space between the two — what the system intended, what the mark actually did is never fully complete .Lines radiate from a single point like an opening fan, restated at a new angle in each band below it — the same gesture folded and reopened, with thin solid bands marking where one register hands off to the next.
